Can I order baked goods in another state?

At the moment we DO NOT ship baked goods out of state.

How does local pickup work?

Local pickup orders are available in Detroit, Michigan. Please contact Chandra BEFORE you check out to schedule a pickup. Send me an email at hello@detroitshop.com.

How long does processing take?

This business is ran by one individual and everything is handmade, so your patience is needed and thanked. My processing time is 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday) for items that are shipped out. Please wait until the 7th day to email us at hello@623detroitshop.cpom or use our contact form with concerns. I (Chandra) create, pack, and ship the item out, so please be kind. I put time and effort into everything I create so please allow me to prepare your item and ship it out correctly.

For bake goods, please notify us at hello@623detroitshop.com with the date you need it by.

Can I return or exchange my items?

At the moment we do not accept returns nor exchanges, all sales are final once item has shipped. If there is an issue with your items please contact us at hello@detroitshop.com or fill out our contact form.

How to cancel your order?

You have 24 hours to cancel, if the item has not been shipped out yet. If the item has been shipped out, the item CAN NOT be canceled even within the 24 hours. Our items are limited quantity and we can’t afford to go back and forth about products. If you have concerns please contact us at hello@623detroitshop.com.

Oops, I put in the wrong address- what do I do?

Before you check out, PLEASE doublecheck your address to make this experience easier for us both. Please reach out to me ASAP at hello@623detroitshop.com or fill out my contact form. If the item has not been shipped yet, I will change the address. If the item has been shipped out, sadly there is nothing I can do nor will I refund the item. It is the buyer responsibility to make sure the address you put in is correct.

However if the item that was sent to the wrong address is sent back to us we will ship it out to you, but you will be required to cover shipping costs again.

If your item does not get sent back to (6:23 Detroit Shop) there is nothing we can do. That is why as a buyer, double check your address before you submit an order or notify us ASAP to change it.

What to do if you suspect your item is lost?

Please keep your tracking number to check the USPS website. Once the item is shipped out, I no longer can access it’s location or its shipping status. Please make an effort to check with your local postal office or USPS website for assistance or information on the location of your package.

My item is damaged- what do I do?

I will only engage with damaged items if the damage happened during delivery. Please be mindful that my items are homemade and not every item will be perfect. However if your item was damaged during shipping with PROOF send a message to hello@623detroitshop.com or use my contact form ASAP. When you contact me, please provide your order number, a description of the damages, and pictures to show the damages. I will investigate the matter and try to help as much as I can.

Can I get a custom item?

At the moment I do not do custom work for stationery goods and bake goods customization is limited. I do not specialize in custom cakes, licensed cakes, or anything that requires a specific theme.
